Are you interested in transferring to Grand Valley State University (GVSU)? Our new transfer partnership with Grand Valley State University Omni makes it easier than ever for SMC students to transfer seamlessly to GVSU after receiving their associate's degree. Plus, students get the bonus of staying close to home while obtaining their bachelor's degree.
The partnership's first degree will be a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Leadership and Business Fundamentals. This degree will provide further knowledge of accounting, finance, management, marketing, and organizational dynamics while acquiring leadership and team-building skills. Classes for this degree will be offered in-seat or as a virtual option, allowing for more personal interaction than fully online degrees typically offer.
How It Works
You'll begin an SMC associate degree program, completing general education courses and intermediate courses in your major area. After completing your associate's degree with SMC, you'll start working on your GVSU bachelor's degree until you've completed both an associate's and a bachelor's degree.
