Business—Online Degree

SMC’s online business program is designed to grow your skills as a business leader. Our online courses offer the same rigorous curriculum as in-seat classes but with the flexibility and convenience of virtual learning from home or wherever you prefer. You choose a full- or part-time curriculum based on your needs, and dedicated advisors follow you throughout the program to help keep you on track and answer any questions you may have.

  • About the Business—Online Degree

Instilling confidence in your skills is a key aspect to this program. Students entering the online business program program generally stay with the same group of students, which encourages exceptional peer collaboration. You’ll work in teams and individually to develop business plans, build marketing strategies, and practice financial planning strategies while also learning how to maximize efficiency, motivate employees, conduct market research, and more.

The online AA in business is designed to help you gain entry-level employment in business. It is a two-year transfer program that allows you to complete the first half of a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. The curriculum meets Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) requirements and will transfer to institutions nationwide.

Upon graduation, you can enter the business world or transfer to the four-year program of your choice.
