Course Description
Prerequisite: Formal admission to the MRI program is required. This course is a study of human anatomy as seen in multiple places. Students will review the gross anatomy of the entire body and identify anatomic structures in the axial, sagittal, coronal, and orthogonal planes. Emphasis will be applied to the appearance characteristics of each structure as seen on illustrations and photographic images correlated with magnetic resonance (MR) and computed tomography (CT).
