Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in HEED 101, concurrent enrollment allowed; Minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104, or English placement test score (Level 2 or higher). Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. This is an introductory course which focuses on learning and using an electronic health record. it gives the health care student the opportunity to utilize an electronic health record to learn front office tasks, complete clinical care tasks, and complete coding and billing tasks. These are skills needed in today's health care facilities. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]
