Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104, or English placement test score (Level 2 or higher). Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. Designed to acquaint the student with the basic structure of medical terms (including prefixes, suffixes, roots, and their combining forms and plurals). Proper pronunciation, spelling, definition of medical terms and building a professional medical vocabulary is emphasized. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer]
