Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in EDUC 115. This course meets state licensing requirements for childcare administration. This course emphasizes the importance of regulations as a foundation for providing an environment and care that lead to optimal growth for young children. Topics include: trends in childcare regulations and/or requirements and knowledge of administrative materials. This course aligns with MDE B-K and PK-3 standards for teacher preparation and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Professional Standards, Competencies ECE I and II.
