Course Description
Prerequisite: None. This course instructs students on the benefits that green homes provide in terms of lower energy costs and long-term value. Strategies for incorporating green-building principles into homes while minimizing added cost of construction will be covered. Small business practices and management including the principals of planning, organizing, staffing/directing and controlling will also be covered. This course prepares students to take the Certified Green Professional Certificate exam. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
