Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimim grade of C in AUTO 228. Additional study of automotive advanced fuel and engine systems of modern automobile systems. Direct injection, alternate fuels and advanced mechanical engine control systems will be discussed. Advanced testing of components and systems using lab scopes, pressure transducers and electrical test equipment will be utilized extensively to identify intermittent and difficult drive-ability concerns. [Semesters offered: Spring]
